Dried mushrooms are just as aromatic as fresh mushrooms. Drying simply removes the water from the mushrooms. Therefore, our organic mushrooms are dried gently and retain their flavor. Furthermore, they are regularly tested for harmful substances.

Preparation of dried mushrooms

Pour hot (not boiling) water over the desired amount of mushrooms in a bowl and let them soak for at least 3 hours.

Then, squeeze the mushrooms out slightly with a paper towel and cook them like fresh mushrooms for about 10-15 minutes! Dried mushrooms can expand 6-10 times. Dried mushrooms make a delicious side dish for meat, fish, and vegetables, but they also go well with sauces and soups. They're an ideal flavor addition to all pasta dishes. You can substitute dried mushrooms for fresh mushrooms in any recipe. Give it a try!
