social commitment
People and projects that are close to our hearts
We are a long-established company and have repeatedly experienced that we can achieve more together. Social commitment is close to our hearts, especially when it comes to supporting disadvantaged children. We put a lot of thought into each project and often support the people for years. We have happily sponsored four children from developing countries, we support a school project in Uganda, and we also promote local projects.

School project in Uganda
The UgandaKids eV association is committed to Adjumani, a town in northern Uganda severely scarred by 20 years of civil war. The people there wanted a school to open up prospects for their children.
The association, together with the residents of Adjumani, made the construction of the school possible and continues to support its maintenance. At UgandaKids eV, we know our donations are in good hands.
We support the association with a fixed monthly amount so that they can work in a planned and meaningful way. Helping people help themselves is our shared goal!

Partnerships through Plan International
As an international children's aid organization, PLAN International supports children in developing countries. Its primary goals are to strengthen children's rights, provide pathways out of poverty, and improve the long-term living conditions of children and families. These programs are primarily financed through sponsorships. We have been sponsoring children for many years, and we have accompanied some of the children until they reached adulthood.

SchlaU School
At the SchlaU School in Munich, around 300 young refugees, regardless of their residency status or their prospects of obtaining a residence permit, are taught in up to 20 classes and prepared for graduation, similar to the core subjects of Bavarian middle schools. Support for the students includes not only classroom instruction but also targeted, intensive, and individualized support. This enables the young people to enter the German vocational training system within a short period of time. Young people aged 16 to 21 are supported in exercising their human right to education and schooling and to participate in society. We regularly support SchlaU School and have sponsored two of them since 2015.

Fair wages
We've been growing our medicinal mushrooms on the same farms for decades. We visit them several times a year and discuss all the important details together. This allows us to leverage the farmers' expertise and the local climatic conditions. Because fairness is important to us in every respect, all employees are fairly paid and professionally valued. Customer satisfaction is so high that many farmers are now working for us in the second and third generation. This trusting collaboration pays off in the quality of our raw materials.
