Choline capsules

CholinePur contains choline in combination with glycine and is characterized by a diverse spectrum.

CholineIt is found in the body as a component of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, lecithins (phosphatidylcholines), and also as an intermediate product of metabolism. Choline is found in larger quantities in food, such as egg yolk, liver, wheat germ, and soybeans, usually as a component of lecithin.

CholineIt can also be synthesized in the liver and kidneys of the human body, as long as the amino acids methionine and folic acid are present in sufficient quantities. When an acetyl residue is transferred to choline in the body, the important neurotransmitter acetylcholine is produced. Acetylcholine mediates the transmission of excitation between nerves and muscles; it is an important transmitter in the central nervous system and acts as a messenger substance in many cognitive processes.

CholineAs part of the phosphatidylcholine family, it is a very important component of cell membranes. Choline can be converted into betaine as an oxidation product. This is required in the body for the synthesis of creatine, methionine, lecithin, and carnitine.
