Amino acids are the precursor of many biologically active substances and form structural proteins (collagen, elastin, keratin).

Proteins are ingested with food and broken down into their components, called amino acids, in the body. These help the body's cells to produce more proteins, which perform a variety of functions in the body. Enzymes, hormones, antibodies, muscle, and supporting tissue are largely composed of proteins. Amino Acid Complex contains all eight essential amino acids. Depending on their nature, these side chains react more acidically or more alkalinely. Depending on this, amino acids are classified as nonpolar, polar, acidic, and basic. L-methionine is the main source of sulfur in the human diet and contributes to the formation of neurotransmitters and nucleic acids. Therefore, methionine is involved in many bodily functions.

L-phenylalanine is important for the synthesis of the hormones adrenaline and thyroxine. The pigment melanin in skin and hair is also formed from L-phenylalanine.

L-threonine is required in the immune system for the formation of immunoglobulins and antibodies.

L-Thrytophan is a precursor for the formation of the important neurotransmitter serotonin.

Take 2 x 1 capsule daily with plenty of liquid.
