What is Organic Reishi?
Organic Reishi refers to Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) from certified organic cultivation. This vital mushroom has been valued for centuries in traditional Asian nutrition. Organic quality means that the mushroom is cultivated without synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or genetic engineering.
Reishi is usually offered as a powder, extract, or in capsules and contains natural ingredients such as polysaccharides, triterpenes, and antioxidants. Organic Reishi represents a particularly pure and high-quality form of this traditional mushroom.

Reishi Capsules or Extract – what suits you?
Reishi: These forms of administration are available at Hawlik:
As with all natural products, the concentration of ingredients in unprocessed Reishi mushroom can vary greatly. Therefore, a standardized processing, as guaranteed by Hawlik vital mushroom products, is recommended for the application and dosage of Ganoderma lucidum. In our shop, you can buy Reishi mushroom in the following forms of administration:
Reishi Extract Capsules
Extraction is a very old technique originating from Asia. Polysaccharides are released from the chitin structure of the roughly crushed and ground Reishi with the help of heat and the addition of water. Since the human body cannot perform chitinase, this is an important step in the production. This type of processing is repeated until the powdered Reishi extract is standardized to at least 30% polysaccharides. Application and dosage: 2 capsules twice daily, preferably in the morning and at midday with meals, with plenty of water.
Reishi Powder Capsules
The mature harvested fruiting body is gently and sustainably dried in the sun and then extremely finely powdered using a special grinding method. This "shellbroken process" ensures that the powder is ground to a size of less than 0.125 mm. This means that the valuable ingredients in the powder can also be absorbed much better. Application and dosage: 2 capsules twice daily, preferably in the morning and at midday with meals, with plenty of water.
Reishi Extract and Powder Capsules
Our customer favorite combines the advantages of extract and powder. Application and dosage: 2 capsules twice daily, preferably in the morning and at midday with meals, with plenty of water.
Reishi Powder
Ideal for mixing into other foods or for direct consumption. Made from whole, gently dried and ground fruiting bodies. Application and dosage: 2 capsules twice daily, preferably in the morning and at midday with meals, with plenty of water.
Reishi Liquid Extract
We even standardize our liquid extract to 40% polysaccharides. Processed in this way, the body can absorb the valuable polysaccharides and beta-glucans even better – the substances released from the mushroom powder are made bioavailable. Application and dosage: 2.5 ml twice daily with meals in the morning and at midday.
Reishi Tea (coarse cut):
Simply pour hot water over it.
Dried Reishi
The entire fruiting body of hand-picked, best quality. Gently dried for further processing.
Its external appearance is also reflected in its name "Glossy Ganoderma". When looking at a Reishi mushroom, one might almost believe it isn't real, because the fruiting body of the Reishi mushroom is covered with a strikingly glossy resin layer. Due to its firm consistency, Reishi is predominantly consumed in Europe as Reishi extract or Reishi powder.
Origin, Cultivation and Use of Reishi Mushroom
As a typical tree fungus, the Glossy Ganoderma prefers deciduous trees and can therefore be well cultivated on logs. As a saprophyte, it uses dead organic substances as food and thus contributes to a closed cycle in the ecosystem. The Reishi mushroom is widespread worldwide. Ingredients of the Reishi mushroom, the "Mushroom of Immortality," contains numerous vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron, and other vital substances. Furthermore, an analysis of its components shows that Reishi is particularly rich in polysaccharides, especially the mushroom-typical high-quality beta-glucans, a special form of polysaccharides. Many of these ingredients are essential for a human organism and make Reishi a valuable food. Over 130 different triterpenes have been detected in Reishi to date. Many of them are highly active and have important biological functions. They are also responsible for the slightly bitter taste in Reishi.
