Dried mushrooms are just as delicious as fresh ones
All mushrooms have been dried preserving the rich flavor. You will be surprised about their excellent taste!
Preparation is very easy. Just pour hot water over the amount of mushrooms you want to prepare and let them soak for about 30 minutes. Then you carefully dry them with kitchen towel and cook them, just like fresh mushrooms, for about 10-15 minutes. Please keep in mind that the mushrooms will swell considerably - according to the species, up to 10 times their dried volume!
Dried mushrooms are a delicious side dish to all meat, fish or vegetable meals or can be put into sauces or soups - they are also very good with noodles!
Dried mushrooms can be stored for at least three years, if kept at a dry place at around 18°C.
